In Spanish is "kilogramo" or shortened version "kilo". And "gramo". But as you see the difference is very light so they will understand you in English In Catalan is exactly the same as in English, jeje.
But the shortened version is the most usual in both languages
Yes, we say also "medio kilo" for 500 grams but if you want to stay on the safe side just say it in grams
