I Need a Driver for Amsterdam Area

Father/Son May trip to Amsterdam. Can anyone recommend a good driver/guide to take me from central Amsterdam to Keukenhof and several other local sights? I am rushed for time or we would take train/bus. Thanks

Drivers are licensed like taxi drivers. So you have to book a car (via hotel) all taxi/hire cars have blue plates to distinguish them and to show they are licensed.

How rushed for time are you and what are the other sites?

Holland is small. Public transportation is efficient and cheap. Taxis are fast and reasonably priced.

Maybe you can move your trip up a bit if you want to have the time of your life. I recommend Amsterdam on Queen's Day, April 30. I'll be there, again.

A taxi-driver isnot a private driver.... some taxi-drivers donot even have a dutcvh background, so donot expect much information from them.
A private driver in general is a licensed guide who also drives a car.
On cruise-critics this guy has an ad, maybe you can e-mail him:

anyone tried the recommended tour person above?

we used the above tour guide during out visit to amsterdam. we had several problems with him including his anti-semitic remarks.

he also brought his dog along for the day without checking with us first re- allergies or how we felt about it.
