I messed up my Scavi reservation *cry*

I was so excited to receive a spot for the Scavi tour on our wedding anniversary, December 29th. I got my e-mail on October 21st.

And I just today realized that the email said I had to pay for it within 15 days. I know I'm stupid stupid stupid stupid stupid, but I just didn't read that part.

Given this setup of ticket reservation I should probably assume that it's been cancelledand there's nothing I can do about it, huh? :( I'm trying to decide whether to submit another request, or email my credit card information anyway and hope for the best?

sad sad stupid me

Carrie

I would do two things:

1) Send your credit card info and beg them to accept it.

and

2) Use hubby's email/name to request a new reservation. If they accept your original reservation, you can ignore this one.

Gosh, I am so sorry. It seems to me that it might be authomatically erased. However you can try to write rquestiong a second chance.
I recently paid for mine, the best to you.

Ohmygod, this is NOT a good day for me computer and Rome wise. I just tried to make a reservation for the Galeria Borghese, which somehow got submitted for 28 November 2006 instead of 28 December; as soon as I got the e-mail I realized the mistake and re-submitted another request for 28 December. I have now gotten confirmation that I have a spot reserved for 28 November (WTF?) but I haven't gotten a reply from my 28 December request, even though it was submitted only 20 minutes or so after the November one. grrrrrrrrr

I mean it's not the end of the world, there are plenty of other things to do in Rome besides the Scavi tour and the Borghese gallery, it's just aggravating. And I much prefer it when aggravating things are someone elses fault, not mine.

I did the things you suggested, JeanneB, I guess now all I can do is sit back and wait. Any benefit to repeatedly trying to call the phone number which is always busy? I'm assuming no.

You mean the phone for the Scavi tour? No, I wouldn't call.

We did the Scavi tour and it was very informative and impressive. But, it wasn't that great. Just replace it with a tour you may not have done otherwise.

Just an update....they accepted my late payment just fine, and the tour went off without a hitch. And it was great :)

Thanks for the help
