I'm worried about missing my flight home from Malpensa Airport

How long should it take a taxi (pre-arranged) to drive from Bellagio to the Malpensa Airport on a Tuesday morning? We need to catch a 10:30 am international flight...and some friends just suggested we could get stuck in traffic!

Cindy - How long will depend on time of day. I think if you make an early departure - maybe 6a.m - you shouldn't have a traffic problem.

Any later than 07.00 could be a completely different story.

Hope this helps ...

Steve

Steve is quite right. Because of traffic, it took us about two hours to go the opposite way at around 9 in the morning.

Cindy we have just come back from a 5 week holiday in Europe and spend the first couple of days racing against the clock, taxi's planes and driving, Uh Uh never again too much stress. Next time I'll wait two hours at an airport for a connecting flight rather than 50 mins. Leave early even if you get there well ahead of time!

We had the same issue, coming from the Lakes and wanting to make the 10:30am flight to Dulles. We decided to spend the night at Villa Malpensa, a 4 star hotel which is 2 minutes away from the airport. We checked in late in the afternoon, sat by the pool for a couple of hours, had a nice relaxing dinner with a great bottle of wine, and slept well, not worrying at all about the traffic the next morning. We took the 8:30am shuttle from the hotel to the airport, arrived at 8:35am, and were checked in by 9am.
