I have $600 in Rail Europe Gift Certificates-how best can I use them?

We will be in Italy for 19 days --- we will travel 7 times (on the train) during that time.
There are 2 of us going.
After looking at the Rail Europe site --- I decided that the "Italy Flexi Rail Card Saver" was the best choice. It is $284/per person --- for 1st Class and allows 8 days of travel within one month---within the same country.

Did I make the right choice???

Thanks

CRP, type your itinerary into www.railsaver.com. The site compares point-to-point cost with that of all the various passes and will tell you which is best for your particular itinerary.
