With almost three hours between flights, you'll have plenty of time to find food. I think I passed a Brasserie Flo and do remember seeing a few "Paul" food stalls selling croissants and sandwiches. Check an online map of the airport and you'll find options.

Drink wine or coffee, both are cheaper than coke. Orangina might be cheaper too.

Glad you had the flight changed, 45 mins. to change is risky.

Have a good trip to Singapore.

I don't know about the Air France flights to Singapore. But everytime we have flown with Air France from CDG to the States our flights have been delayed because they wait for the stragglers. Last month again our flight was delayed for over 45 minutes due to the wait for delayed passengers (we were two of them). Well, I do hope it will work out for you. And you're correct that CDG is not that great. However, they have newer terminals like 2E that are actually nice.

And never believe what those airlines tell you about connection times. As long as it's legal to them they don't care about how it is in reality.

So, there we were at the gate waiting to board our AF plane to Bordeaux, fortunately held up for 20 min or we wouldn't have made it, when a young man from Australia came running up to the gate adjoining ours. He was late because his AF flight had been delayed.

Despite the fact that they had not yet closed the doors, they wouldn't let him out of the terminal and onto the plane because they had announced that they would be closing the doors.

Some people are luckier than others.

Yes. Perhaps some are luckier than others. But your flight was to Bordeaux. If there were later flights then that might be the reason they closed the doors. Our flight was the lone daily flight from CDG to SFO. I doubt AF wanted to dump all of the stragglers on our flight as they'd be responsible for something perhaps an overnight hotel stay and/or whatever else they would need to offer.
