I found good Fares for Fall---

<BR>Go to www.Bestfares.com then "click"<BR>on International on the left side of screen------ then when the new screen comes up go to any of the "Europe specials" or keep going down the screen until you see what you need.<BR>Some of the fares (RT) Rome are $298 !!! <BR>Hope this helps someone !

You have to pay $50 to join their club, per person. Also, I don`t think taxes, etc are included. So maybe not so great after all.

Gretchen Jun 27th, 2002 12:46 PM

You can hope but Pat is correct probably--join up and learn about the $$$ in taxes and charges they don't advertise.

We belonged previously, although it may not apply for now, but it used to be only one person had to join for $60 a year and you could buy all your family tickets. Also, in the past it included the taxes, but may not now--I don't know.

bestfares.com was the worst travel money I have ever spent. They enticed with this incredible offers that are just waiting for you to become a member. Once you do, there are no flights/no seats/ no days/ no deal. Worst travel agents I have ever encountered. Total waste of money.

Not to be a downer, but the lower airfares seemed to be during the off season. I think you could find comparable airfares elsewhere as the off season approaches

<BR>I have used Bestfares 2 x in the past year and found them to be very helpful and they had good prices.

Rex Jun 28th, 2002 06:25 AM

I agree with Vita. The beginning of the normal reduction in prices for November and October is starting to appear. Even so, despite being somewhat predictable, these lowest fares are "capacity-controlled" and they can sell out - - no reason not to buy them when you see something that matches your needs - - and be pleased about it!<BR><BR>Best wishes,<BR><BR>Rex<BR>

Years ago I joined Best Fares for 1 year (didn't renew) --- I didn't find it worth the $60 cost.<BR>
