Hummel factory tour
 

I read about the Hummel factory, has anyone out there went to see the tour? Thank you. Carol

I went about 5 years ago. are you a Club member? If so, you can attend the lunch that they serve to visiting members at noon. We arrived at 1 PM and found out that we missed it! You get a visit to their "museum" display, which is to die for, and you see a video, and then go into a room where 2 craftsmen are working. You can buy "factory only" pieces which can me marked with your name and date of visit as well. The when you are finished, go across the street to the factory store. Same prices as US, at least 5 years ago.

Where is the Hummel factory located? That sounds like it would be fun.

Coburg, Germany. I don't have my map with me but look west of Frankfurt and a little north.

We were there in 1986. It is in Rodental Germany. North of Coburg. They close (or used to) at noon on Friday. Unless you are a member(which we weren't at that time) They don't have a regular tour. But had someone there that gave us all info. in English
