How Well-Traveled Are You?
I have a long way to go. Sigh. How many countries have you visited? I thought this was a fun quiz.

I'll bite: 27. But most of those were relatively short trips, often on business, to one major city - not sure how much that counts for.
29..... We will travel in 2015, but will add zero to the count.
Not well travelled at all. I have been to just 12 countries on the list.
DH to 32! Not likely to get to many more of them now either :(. |
We consider ourselves to be VERY well-traveled even though we have only been in 50 different countries. I suppose we could talk the "quality vs. quantity" rhetoric but that accomplishes little.
Not well travelled either. I only got 13. Oh, well...
39, some several times, but not in depth in most
only 20 out of 199! LOL And I thought I had been places!
I got 30 and will have 2 more after this summer. But I just keep going back to the same countries.
29, some twice
I hear you Isabel, we can't stop going back to Italy and France.
70, at least one from every letter but O, Q, Y and Z. Mostly Europe and Asia. I expect to add four more this year, but last year was a "go back to" year.
I have 64. Pretty good, I guess.
28, but some like Italy and France 8 times with France scheduled this year
Well, I'm up to 30 based on the list but I don't think it's complete - didn't see Wales or Scotland - and it seems like others may be missing too.
22 for me, all in North America and Europe except for Japan and New Zealand. We are also "repeaters" (mostly to France) and haven't added a new country since 2000.
30 for me. I'll add 3 more this summer.
I thought I'd traveled a lot, but after seeing all those names, I guess not. |
Hmmm. 83. Big trips in the 70s and again more recently, but there is so much still to see.

Answer to NYTraveler: I've always gone by the TCC(Traveler's century Club) List. That's where you'll find Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, along with some wild "iffy" spots....just to name a few that were left off the OP's reference. (Alaska, for example, is considered a country by the TCC). Since my overseas traveling days are probably over, I've used the number 85 for places I have visited during the past 69 years. Only 74 were on the OP's referred list. My first foreign country "visited" was Japan as a 17-year old Army enlistee...and I've been traveling far and wide ever since. Once bitten by the bug, there is no cure...so now I count on Fodor's for the vicarious kick! Thank you all, sincerely! stu tower |
I got 37 and do a lot of repeat travel, especially to Italy and France.
