How to take the train from Sevilla airport to Madrid airport?

Please, I would appreciate any information on taking the train in Spain. Is it possible to take a train from the Sevilla airport to the Madrid airport? Is it possible to do without a change of trains?
Many thanks.

I am sorry to say that you will have to change several times. Sevilla airport to downtown Sevilla by bus http://www.sevilla5.com/sevilla/transportation.html

Train from Sevilla to Madrid Atocha

From Atocha, you can either get the new airport bus that takes you straight to Barajas or navigate the metro or a combination of cercania (commuter train) plus metro.

None of the steps is complicated but probably more of a hassle than you were hoping for.

I agree fmpden, train prices (plus transportation to the train station) is not necessarily cheaper than flying. That's the way I went to Sevilla from Madrid airport.

Duh! Why didn't I think of that?? Do you know of any cheap airlines that fly within Spain. Iberia is over $200. I tried Vueling and SpanAir but they don't;
Thank you very much for the enlightment.

Springstraveler,

Check Air Europa and Spanair. I see they offer flights for around $100 one way. Unfortunately, they require a stop/ connection. But still, by the time it takes you to get to Atocha and take the train its around the same amount of time.

Why is your starting point the Seville airport? Are you staying near there? Yes, I know things are "expensive' but realistically, take the AVE seville-Madrid and a taxi to the airport to avoid hassle, save time, etc
