How to make reservations for the Vatican Scavi Tour

OK, I've searched, but can't seem to make the answer to this question come up, although I know there are threads that address this subject.

At any rate, I'd like to know A) how to go about making reservations for the Vatican Scavi Tour; and B) how much it costs.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Jennie :)

email [email protected] for reservations

Cost is 9 euro/person

We took this tour last year; I highly recommend it.

Jennie, there's currently a thread running now called "Under St. Peters Basilica." If this isn't one you've already looked at, you'll get some good info there. My parents were on the Scavi tour this spring and said it was fascinating.

www.twenj.com/romevatican.htm Info is alittle dated, like you no longer have to send a check but it still works.
I just did something like "Dear Sirs, I'd like to request 2 tickets to St. Peter's Necropolis Scavi Tour. The dates I'm available are x, y and z." And signed it with the ticketholder names, addresses & ages.
You'll get an automated e-mail answer 1st and then (in time:) the "Yes or No" with a confirmation number and instructions. Regards, Walter

Many thanks everyone! I will do this today.

Do I pay in advance with a credit card? Or do I just pick the tickets up once I'm in Rome and pay at that point?

You pay when you pick up the tickets. This is a great tour, one of my highlights of Rome.
