How to get to Lazare Train Station to Paris Nord and how much time?

How much time and how would you travel from Lazare Train Station in Paris to Paris Nord to take the Eurotrain to London? How much time do we need to allow between? Guess there isn't a train from Lazare to Nord! Thanks.

If you have luggage I would take a taxi--probably 15 minutes. You can look up a Metro route on www.ratp.fr

The RER-E runs from Haussmann-St Lazare (one block from the train station) to Magenta (also one block from Gare du Nord).

Or take Metro line 3 to Reamur Sebastopol and switch to Line 4.

If you don't have too many bags, take the RER E as it's the quickest, cheapest option. It's a brand new line, and it's only one stop from Gare St Lazare to Gare du Nord (AKA Magenta). But quite a few stairs/escalators to negotiate. Otherwise take a taxi and allow at least half an hour (traffic can get very snarled up around these two stations).
