How to get Point to Point ticket prices for the BO for the BO
 

Two women and 3 teens will be in an apartment in Lauderbrunnen for 5 nights. They will have a rental van. They can use the car for the longer day trip to Luzern. these 5 nights will give them 4 days and one of those days they plan to visit Luzern (by car) as a day trip.

I need help accessing the prices of Point-to-Point rail travel in order to compare buying the 4 day BO Regional Pass ($250 pp). ($1,000. for all 5). They will want to get up to Murren, Wengen. Do the hike
Mannsdicken to Klein Schledgge, and perhaps Windersall to Schneigge Platte.

I have tried sbb.ch and sub.com and cannot find these trip fares. also it is difficult to get these sites in
English.
Fares I need are:
Lauterbrunnen to Klein Scheidegg
Mannilicken to Wengen and then Wengen to Lauterbrunnen
Lauterbrunnen to Murren
Descending the Gondola at Steckleberg

Besides rail fares, are the cablecar and Gondola fares shown somewhere else? I understand these fares are more pricey.

How do I find the price of a cruise on Lake Thun if they decide to do this?

Why on earth are they renting a van? They can get everywhere by train and not have to worry about parking fees, etc. Seems a huge waste of money to me as they'd need to buy train/gondola tickets for the bulk of their trip anyway.

They are renting a VAN because the BULK of their trip will be in Germany and Austria. They will rent and return in Munich.
The 5 nights/4 days in Switzerland is a very small portion of the trip. 5 rail passes for 4 days would be very expensive. (CHF 250 pp = $1000.)

If teens are under 16 then they get a free Family Pass at any Swiss station and they never pay a cent for any travel parents buy some kind of tikcet on.

Fair enough. Thanks for the clarification. It's easier to help when we have the whole story.

.....and if we knew the whole itinerary, we would probably recommend to visit Lucerne on the way from Munich to Lauterbrunnen, instead of backtracking.

with van they have to go back to Germany.

Yes, they have considered visiting Lucerne on the way "in" to Lauterbrunnen
but that would necessitate getting two rooms in a hotel in Lucerne...quite a bit more expensive than their daily apt. rate,but they will investigate it again.
The teens are 16, 17, and 18. DARN! They missed the age cut-off. We were
aware of this but they could not do the trip earlier.

The drive from Mittenwald will mostly fill up a day. So they plan on driving directly to Lauterbrunnen, get settled, and then decide their itinerary depending on the areas of good weather.
If they do not get a rail pass, they will drive to Lucerne, or visit it on exiting Lauterbrunnen.

The road distance from Mittenwald to the Swiss border is just 100 miles, most of it on Austrian motorways. From there, it's another 70 miles on motorways and highways up to Lucerne.

Only a Swiss Pass would be useful but probably not just for what they plan. Look into Swiss Transfer Ticket too or book at www.bahn.de/en from any German town to any Swiss place often at a neat discount.
