How to get link for specific thread?

I'd like to email a link for a specific thread to my sister, but I can't figure out how to do it. When I have the thread I want open (the one on rolling bags vs backpacks), the link at the top of my window is the same as the link for any other thread on the Europe board. So if I copy and paste that link, it just brings up the Europe board and not the thread I want. Is there a way to get the link for a specific thread so my sister won't have to search for the one I mean? Thanks (sorry if this is a stupid question).

right click on the thread and open it in a new page. Then copy and paste the url from the new page.
Alternately, right-click and select "copy link location" then paste it into your email.

YAY! Thanks, ssachida. I'd have never figured it out on my own!

Hi althom, maybe I am not understanding your question correctly as I am certainly not a computer expert.

But if I do understand you correctly, you wish to email the thread regarding rolling bags vs backpacks to your sis.

If this is the case it is really easy to do. Up at the top (above the thread) and even at the bottom (below the thread) is the "Email this thread". Click that on and a box will pop up. Type in your sisters email address, type in your name and email address and click send. Your sis will get the thread you want her to read.

Try emailing the thread to yourself and you will see what I mean.

In fact sometimes I do email threads to myself, to have for later reference.

Hope this helps.

Sometimes the most obvious is the most easily overlooked! I had never noticed the option to email this thread (duh). Thanks!
