How to get from Pula to Ljubljana in the evening at night?

It seems that the bus from Pula to Ljubljana only operates at 5:30 in the morning. What other public transportation options are available?

There's a train but it takes 5-1/2 hours to get from Pula to Ljubljana.

As far as public transportation, that's it.

thanks for your help; i'm changing the itinerary around a little: going first to ljubljana then to pula. i found a train from zagreb to ljubljana late at night. (the earlier trains said fares not available--what does this mean? that it's sold out?). But I need transportation from ljubljana to pula--on may 7 at night, but can't find anything? can you help? also from venice to zurich on sunday may 11, what's the best way?
thanks again

The bahn.de site has schedules for all of Europe, but it only sells tickets for German trains, as it's the German railway's website. You might want to spend some time here: http://www.seat61.com/Croatia.htm or here: http://www.seat61.com/international-...om-Croatia.htm

Yes, you ned to handle your own luggage.

Venice - Zurich:
can you not open the timetable link or are you not used to read timetables?
Luggage:
if you have not more than 2 big suitcases or 1 suitcase and 1 tramper per pax, you will have no problem.

thursdaysd Apr 27th, 2014 03:40 AM

Have no idea what a tramper is, but two big suitcases per person will be a pain on public transport. Pack light!

neckervd Apr 27th, 2014 06:12 AM

sorry, I meant a big trekker backpack
