How to get from Palermo Airport to our hotel

We are staying at Principe di Villa Franca in Palermo and I need advise on how to reach our hotel from the airport. The hotel wants Euro 60 which seems a bit steep. Is there a train from the airport to the center of town like there is in Rome?

We are leaving for our trip on Oct. 3rd., traveling around Sicily for 7-8 days by car then heading to Sorrento for 3-4 days taking day trips. Back to Rome for the last 2 days. We can't wait to get back to this beautiful country.

There is also a bus which has 2 stops in the cneter of town, the las tone is by the train station. Also quite cheap, as I remember.

I've always found it easier to take the Prestia & Comande bus, which has a stop right outside the terminal. On the way into Palermo, the closest stop for your hotel would be Politeama (about 2-3 blocks). The bus costs 5 Euro.

The most economical transportation for service between the Palermo airport and Palermo (excluding the bus or train) that I have found is:

29.50 Euro for one or two passengers. We used them from our hotel to the airport and were very pleased with their service.
