how to get from Florence to Amsterdam

Hi, does anyone know the best way to get from Florence to Amsterdam? We would like to end up in Amsterdam after spending some time in Italy. Thank you>

Fly non-stop on Meridiana - $ 130 and about 2 hours.

check the discount airline "Easyjet". We traveled from Milan to Amsterday last March for less than $100 for two. They may fly from Florence. You have to buy tickets early to get good rates. Expect delays and no frills.

You're not telling us when you want to travel, that can make a huge difference. Cheap airlines schedule their routes according to seasonal demand.

So research it as follows:

From Florence, Meridiana flies to Amsterdam. IF you don't see what you like, look further.

From Florence you have the option of three airports within roughly an hour's reach:
Pisa (the Dutch budget airline Transavia flies from there to Amsterdam), Bologna, and Florence. If nothing shows up that you like, try Milan, Transavia flies from there to Amsterdam also.

With Amsterdam, also count Eindhoven and Rotterdam as options.

Knowing that, search accordingly, on

www.skyscanner.net
and
www.whichbudget.com

Trains take almost a day - 16:08 hrs is the quickest I can see offhand, with 4 switches en route, others take much longer and involve more switches.

Thank you for your help. Haven't been on this sight in a while because we may not be able to go. If we do, it will be in mid July. Thanks again. singer
