How to get from Catania to Giardini Naxos?
 

We arrive in Catania airport and must get to Hotel Sant Alphio Garden in Giardini Naxos.
I know we can take a bus from airport but not sure to get off in Giardini Naxos( Mt Etna bus) or Recanati(Interbus). Don't know which is closer to the hotel. Have emailed the hotel to ask-but no reply!
In either case are there taxis available to get us to the hotel?

We took a taxi from the Catania airport to Taormina, so I would think there would be no problem to Giardini Naxos which is nearby and prior to arrival in Taormina.

Could you tell me please how much you paid for taxi and did you book ahead of time?
I had an email from Sicily Limousine offering transport for 75 euro from Catania Airport to Giardini Naxos, but don't know anything about them.
A forum search yielded nothing on them.

The Sant Alphio Garden Hotel is *in* Giardini Naxos on *via* Recanati.

Take the bus to Giardini Naxos; there are probably taxis near the bus station.

We did not pre book a taxi, but got one at the airport. I can't remember what we paid, and of course the exchange rate was better, but I was surprised that it was not as much as I had thought it would be. I Know it was not as high as 75 E.

I don't know if this is too late, but just in case:

The hotel is definitely in the Recanati district south of Giardini Naxos, where most hotels are located. So you should take the bus to Recanati.

You can find the hotel at maps.google.com. Choose business search. Type the hotel name, Via Recanati and Giardini Naxos.

The bus ride from Catania Airport to Recanati/Giardini Naxos will take from 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on the number of stops.
