how to dress as night in italy in mid-sept

Any suggestions? Will I need a light coat or will long sleeves and pants work?

Thanks.

There's quite a range of climates in Italy. What region will you be visiting?

The north tends to be a fair amount cooler than Rome, so you will want to bring a jacket. Also, Rome may have rain, so you'll need a good rain jacket anyway.

I brought a cardigan sweater that could go underneath, and I was glad I had it in Venice and Florence...there was quite a cold snap when I was there in early October.

Your best bet will be to check the weather the night before you go and at least get an idea of how cool/rainy it will be and pack accordingly.

Happy travels,

Jules

Wear black with sparkly buttons to simulate the stars ! But seriously, pack light and purchase some of the clothes locally, you will come home with a nice momento that will serve you well whilst there.
