How to call collect the US from Amsterdam
I am wondering if someone could tell me how to call collect a US number from Amsterdam. I will have a phone for voice only with a SIM card that I will buy in Amsterdam. Thanks in advance.

It is probably cheap enough to phone using your mobile anyway. With a KPN pre-paid mobile for instance it costs you €1.18 a minute to phone the US.
Alternatively send a text (€0.18) with your number and let whoever in the US call you.
When you buy your sim you should also get a number to call for the customer service desk. They may be able to help you, but afaik most providers don't allow overseas collect calls to be made from a mobile.
