How quiet is hotel Tiquetonne?

I heard it has sqeeky floors. Could you hear the neighbors, etc? Did the elevator work? What are the minuses? There should be a reason why it's so cheap.

Thanks!

My son says that he slept like a baby. He was there last March for a couple of nights.
This will also get this topped for you to get more answers from people who have been there :)

Well, Scarlett, that doesn't sound like much of an endorsement. Most babies I know toss, turn, and cry half the night!
LOL.

We stayed at the Tiquetonne for a week nearly 3 years ago.

The first night (a Saturday) was really noisy - seemed to be lots of people coming and going, the lift door opening and closing, and people talking in the hallway.

The rest of the week was fine - nothing that really bothered us. The pedestrian street where it is located is rather gorgeous and is very quiet at night.

The hotel fulfilled my desire to stay somewhere "really Parisienne". It is 1 star so it is basic - the bathtowels were certainly not thick and soft and fluffy and the housekeeping was not absolutely spotless. However it certainly has character and a kind of shabby charm.

I liked the hotel and the location. For the price it is a great choice.
