I guess I missed the "where to you live" thread so here goes...
I'm 30 yrs. old and I live in the wonderful City of New York.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their excellent and invaluable advice.
I found this board 6 months ago while researching our trip to Italy and since then have been a daily lurker and occasional poster.
Our trip was a smashing success so THANKS EVERYBODY!

"Old enough to know better,
Strong enough to be true,
Hard enough to know whether
He was smart enough
to know what to do..."
Love that Lyle Lovett

Now now, Escritora, there's no need to use derogatory terms -- unless you'd prefer to be called an (42-year-)old bat? We younger members put up with quite enough ribbing about our age in our professional and personal lives -- no need to spread it into the virtual!

I'm 27, though I've been told I think more like a 37 year old, and I've travelled more than my age may indicate...

27 years old, living in the Big Apple. Currently planning trip to Paris for Thanksgiving week. Hoping to go to Costa Rica in Feb or March.

PBProvence: So we're both 54, Brooklyn-born, and part-Sicilian. But I guess the similarities may end there, since you're in Provence and I'm just here in NJ and I play with mutts instead of horses.

Will be 60 on September 11 and planning a trip to Tuscany for November. This will be our 10th trip to Europe; one each year since my 50th birthday.

Going to be 24 in October, but have been checking in on this board for about 2-1/2 years now. You have all helped me out on my trips to Paris and London, and have fueled my fascination with Europe.

I turned 30 a few months ago and have been reading this board all summer in preparation for our first trip to Europe next month. I can't wait! My husband turns 31 our last day, in Paris. This board has been awesome for advice (and amusement).

I'm 37 and have lived in NYC for almost 12 years ( Labor Day weekend will make it official). I can't help but feel that I should have traveled to Europe during my 20's - when comfort and crowds didn't concern me as much then as they do now. But in retrospect 15 years ago things were so much different when it came to traveling outside of the US - the internet really has changed all that.

Six of us just returned from Paris - ages 36 to 70; I am somewhere in there! But my 36 yr old daughter complained that she was out of shape and couldn't keep up with the rest of us. I am not willing to wait until retirement to enjoy myself - now where can I go on my recent tax refund? I also am in the DC burbs.

I'm 27 (August 5th), celebrated here in Boston, in a beautiful Sunday walking around the Boston Commom/Public Garden. Have plans to turn 30 in Paris, the city of my heart, walking around the Quartier Latin.

Um, I've met Paige (reportedly 36) and know for a fact she's 48. I, myself, am 8...gotta go, cartoons are on...

Just turned 24!

Old enough to know what's right,
and young enough not to choose it.
Wise enough to win the world,
and fool enough to lose it.
I'm a New World Man.
