how old are you?

Inspired by "where do you live" thread.
It would be interesting to know the level of age diversity of posters on this board.

I'm 26.

I'll be 50 in November, and boy do I have plans to celebrate - in three different countries.

Escritora Aug 13th, 2001 03:40 PM

Way to go, StCirq! Let's hear from others who have exciting travel plans on/around their birthdays. I'll turn 42 in October and will spend the day prowling the ruins at Monte Alban in Oaxaca.

YS, you 26 year old baby, you should have asked us all how YOUNG we are!

Our kids say we act like teenagers.

Our company members say we act like grandparents.

Our federal laws enable us to retire with a pension.

Our doctor says our bodies are young for our chronological years.

Our grandchildren like to visit the 'fun grandparents'.

Our friends say we are nuts.

How old are we? Somewhere between 16 and 76.
Larisa Aug 13th, 2001 04:55 PM

My body is 47, my mind is 75, my spirit is 23 (my son's age).
In my next reincarnation I will attempt to be a lady.

I'll be 55 in November--an early, early baby boomer. I used to be younger than others in my class in school, and some people didn't believe my age. My father used to tell me to say that he'd returned home from overseas in Feb. 1946 and I wasn't born through a postcard. November is usually my slump time--I just hate losing daylight and losing the flowers and even miss the insects, and I can't wait for daffodil time and dogwood time and swimming and flower and vegetable garden time. I've never planned anything special for my B-D. Maybe I should just re-locate my B-D so I can celebrate during one of the months when I'm bursting with energy.

LK Aug 13th, 2001 05:08 PM

I'll answer this and the previous post about where you live at the same time.

I'm female, and just turned 36 a couple of months ago. Reside in the suburbs of D.C.

Can never get enough of the travel forum, btw--always a great place to pick up terrific ideas!

I will turn 39 in September and leave for Italy two weeks later. My mind, except during my more serious moments, which seem to be fewer and fewer these days, is more like 25-30, but my wife would probably tell you my daughter acts older than I (she is 2 1/2).

Judi Aug 13th, 2001 05:47 PM

I'm plenty-nine and that's where I'm staying...

sonney Aug 13th, 2001 05:47 PM
