How much to tip

How much is a reasonable tip in France for the shuttle to the hotel, the restaurants and bell hops? It's gone up I'm sure from four years ago.

I don't use bell hops, so can't help with that. The only shuttle I use is the Air France bus, and you don't tip on that. In restaurants, you round up a couple of euros. It hasn't gone up since forever.

I avoid shuttles but can´t imagine you would tip them any more than you would a taxi - 3-5%.

Bell hops - 1€ per bag.

Restaurants - service is included in the bill. If you really like the meal, send a message to the chief, he is the one responsible for your food, not the waiter.

I would only round up a few Euros...this topic usually starts lots of heated discussion on the forum!

I'm in the round up a few euros group for restaurants, taxis about 5% if I've not had a horrendous ride and bellhops, on the occasion that I can't avoid them, 1 euro/bag.

Okay, I think I understand. Thanks all.
