Waltz performances in Stadtpark Vienna

My husband and I, quite by happenstance, enjoyed a waltz performance in the park in 1977. Does anyone know if these performances are still happening. The performance was outside on a patio type area among the tables where you could enjoy a coffee or libation! The dancers were in period dress. It was lovely.

You most probably refer to the Kursalon in the Stadtpark.

This an 1800s building from the Imperial times.
The terrace overlooking the Park and the golden statue of J Strauss has been home to many concerts etc. especially summers. I believe this does not happen now. The terrace for drinks and light food in summer- an ice cream kiosk nearby-

Now a almost daily show ( inside of the Kursalon ) offers music of the Strauss era, opera singers and a little dancing.
aimed for the tourist market with period costumes etc.

Use google to find the website - perhaps something like Kursalon concerts or something similar-

often these concerts offer as an additional thing a meal too- save your money and dine elsewhere.
