How much exactly will I save in getting a train ticket a day before?

I plan on going to Cardiff, from Uttoxeter (1 change at Derby) on tuesday. I still have not got my tickets and I was planning on getting them on the day of my journey, but how much would I save (if any) if I got the ticket(s) on monday (the day before)?
It is a 3 hr 30 m journey and it's round about 150 miles.
Thanks!

An advance ticket costs £29. They are available on the Internet now and will probably still be available at the station through Monday. On Tuesday they will sell you an off-peak ticket, priced at £56.60.

A concise and precise anser from Ron. You can buy the cheap advance ticket now at www.chilternrailways.com (or any train company website) and collect it, assuming Uttoxeter has a self-service collection machine.
