I appreciate everyone's opinions. kja and dweislaw--I am really happy to hear you loved Slovenia, and isabel--it is great to hear that you did not feel it was busy. Normally, we travel in early June to minimize crowds. But this year I found a great deal on Skymiles at the end of June, so I jumped.
