My seventh time will be this September when I visit the Czech Republic. Although I wanted to visit Europe as long as I can remember, my first trip was to France in the winter 1999 when I was 33. I was obsessed with England and went there that summer. Now I've created a monster and need to go back every year, although have not always been able to do this.

I will have my house paid off in approximately 3.5 years and hope to do even more traveling then. Sadly, my vacation time will not be much different.

You youngsters are so lucky you've been able to travel at a fairly young age!

Our first trip is in July. I can't wait. We are spending 2 weeks in Germany. My husband spent time in Europe when he was in the Army, but this is both of our first vacation there. We are in our early 30s.

I have always wanted to travel to Europe. Have done a decent amount of travelling in the US, but due to finances and lack of vacation time, have never been to Europe.

I hope this will be the first of many trips

First trip to Greece in 1980, when I was turning 40. Since then back to Greece three times, and five trips to other European countries, plus two trips to the far East. Next trip to Italy in May. So an average of a major trip every other year.

8 times since 1985, that includes a 3 month study abroad in Switzerland when I got to see alot of Europe...loved that Eurail pass and 3 day weekends from school!

My 9th trip is coming up in September and will take pretty much the whole month (leave Sept 2 returning Sept. 29) to see Prague, Krakow, Eger & Budapest in Hungary, Bled in Slovenia, Rab Island, Hvar Island and Dubrovnik in Croatia! Can't wait...only 4 and a half months to go!

Oh, I'm 38 and was fortunate to get the "travel bug" on my first trip to Italy when I was 15.

My first trip to Europe was in May 1983 for my son's high school graduation. After 1983 I go 2 times a year except this year I will be going 3 times. Aways the end of May and always in September, but this year I got a good airfare to Nice on March 29 so 3 trips this year. 46 trips to date

The first time was in 1967 when I was a college student in Germany; I went to England and Ireland to "vacation" on spring break. Then there was a long gap, until 1994. Since then I have been at least once each year, twice in 1995, for a total of fourteen times to Europe. This is the first year since 1994 that I will not be going---we'll go to Utah and Yosemite for hiking instead. But I'm well into the planning for a 2007 trip, which will be a "big-OH" birthday celebration for me (I won't say which!).

My teenage daughters have already been to Europe twice, once to Paris and London, and once to Switzerland and the French Alps.

My 14th trip in 20 years is coming up in July. Try to get "over the pond" once a year now. You never know when you won't be able to travel anymore so I keep on trying. I'm in my late 50's & now that my friends have raised their kids they have more $$ to travel with me.

I started 4 years ago at age 56 trying to play catch-up with my kids who both studied and travelled in Europe. Went to England on first trip (heck, I figured at least I knew the language), then France, Italy last September and currently planning to go to Germany this year. I put a five year plan together, planning on Spain next year, Russia & the Ukraine the year after, Scandinavia after that. If I can, I will head to Prague as a separate trip later this year. I've got the bug. No point in sitting on a beach in Hawaii when there is so much to see and do in Europe.

First time was in 1990 when I was 38 - went to England. Counting that trip I have been to Europe 12 times...various countries. European trip number 13 (uh oh!) coming up in late May and can't wait. Am now 54 and hope to travel as long as my health and money holds out!

First went in 1997 when I was 45, (that makes me 53 now)and have gone somewhere in Europe every year since then, with the exception of 1999.
Trip #9 is coming up May 15, will have 1 week in Provence and a week in Northern Italy. Only 26 days to lift-off.

My first was in 1961 (college student, 8 countries that trip), then no trips until 1979, then '88, and almost every year since then. Fifteen trips in all, mostly to France.

My wife and I made our first trip with my parents in 1959. Took the liner France and fell in love with France.Have returned every year but a few and have visited sometimes twice in a year so that must make about 50 to 60 visits to Europe. Almost all had some time spent in France. Will be going to Cannes in July and Paris in September.

Hope to continue as long as we can.
