Deb15July, Ma'am, I chose this name because many of my friends say they feel comfy with me, and because it was a choice between ComfyShoes (somewhat relevant to a travel forum, no?) and doggiepoo (much discussed here, in the context of old European cities and its four legged inhabitants). I let my ego come in picture and simply didn't feel in sync with doggiepoo.

Sorry I can't advice except to say you usually get what you pay for, and this I sincerely believe, shoes are a reflection of the soul of a human.

Since 1995 I've visited these countries, some of them more than once, and some of them even before 1995:
(I live in Croatia) US, Mexico, UK, France, Germany, Spain, the Checz Republic, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Finland, Israel, the Netherlands, Slovenia, Switzerland, Former Yu Rep. of Macedonia, Bosnia, Greece, also the small ones: Monaco, Vatican, San Marino and Lichtenstein.
I guess the airports in Sweden and Danemark don't count.
Well, not a very impressive list for a person who loves travelling so much, but that's all I've been able to afford so far.

Got the international travel bug in March, 1987. Since then ...

For fun: France (lots), Italy, what used to be called Yugoslavia (Slovenia now), Austria, Germany, UK, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Morocco, Switzerland, Turkey ... so that's 12
For work: UAE, Bulgaria, Canada, Malaysia, S. Korea, Japan (+ Turkey, France, UK) ... so that's 6 new ones
= 18
Ireland is coming up in 3 weeks with another Turkey in June.

I'm getting old, trying to do these all from memory...let's see...

Canada, Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica, El Salvadore, Nicaragua, Panama, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Bolivia, Cuba, Bahamas, Haiti, Dominican Republic, BVI, Angilla, Montserat, Nevis, St. Kitts, Antigua, Dominica, Martinique, St. Martin/Marteen, St. Lucia, St. Vincent, Barbados, Trinidad, Canary Islands, Iceland, Scotland, England, Wales (I count them individually), France, Italy, Bermuda.

I know I'm missing some, but I guess that is 39 so far. First travelled out of the U.S. in 1970, last trip was Dec 2006.

Yep, forgot Jamaica, Cayman's, Turks & Caicos, Swan Island (I didn't count the USVI or Puerto Rico, since they are U.S. possessions)

US, Canada, Russia, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Belorus...and adding 4 this year (France, England, Czech Republic, Belgium). First trip was to Canada and I was fairly young, maybe 1986/1987...at 9 or 10 years old. Sad that I live in Texas and haven't made it to Mexico yet, but have been to Canada three times.

70-odd counting days spent on Caribbean islands while on 2 cruises.

But I don't go for stamps on passports. I have spent over 70 weeks in America at different times, been to Thailand and Tenerife a few dozen times each. I even got to New Zealand 3 times.

I travel around countries too and have travelled extensively in many of the countries I have visited (like two 7 week holidays in India).

I hope to ramp that up with Thailand and Vietnam next year, Belize or Costa Rica the year after.

Currently living in the Republic of Texas. Does that count?

In addition, England, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, China, Peru, Puerto Rico- US Territory, Turkey, Canada, Mexico, Czech Republic, Bahamas, Virgin Islands, all over the US, the controversial Monaco & Vatican, and the Netherlands. No whirlwind Europe in ten days tours. Visited more than half on the list on multiple occasions.

Now, where do I WANT to travel? Morocco (thanks to JGG's recently posted photos and trip report), Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Chile, Ecuador, Russia, South Africa, New Zealand, Tibet, Egypt & Israel.

Aruba, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Cayman, China, Costa Rica, Denmark, Dominica, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Greece, Grenada, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Philippines, Romania, Russia, St. Lucia, St. Maarten/Martin, Sweden, Switzerland, Tortola, Turkey, Ukraine, US Virgin Islands and Venezuela.

There are 38 places on the list which just about matches my age. Would love to keep that up and let my birthday cake candles represent countries visited!

Now, unfortunately, some of these places I visited before the age of 10 so I don't remember a lot and another handful of countries were stops on cruises so I only got a day or so... but I was there.

Prize for most vacation days goes first to Italy and second prize to China.
