Deb15July, Ma'am, I chose this name because many of my friends say they feel comfy with me, and because it was a choice between ComfyShoes (somewhat relevant to a travel forum, no?) and doggiepoo (much discussed here, in the context of old European cities and its four legged inhabitants). I let my ego come in picture and simply didn't feel in sync with doggiepoo.
Sorry I can't advice except to say you usually get what you pay for, and this I sincerely believe, shoes are a reflection of the soul of a human. :) |
21 countries, began traveling at 3 months so was bitten with the travel bug at or near birth.
Europe and Asia are included. Have visited Asia once and Europe 3 times, 4th upcoming this summer. MvK |
Since 1995 I've visited these countries, some of them more than once, and some of them even before 1995:

I guess the airports in Sweden and Danemark don't count. Well, not a very impressive list for a person who loves travelling so much, but that's all I've been able to afford so far. |
Arjana, Pretty impressive list to me.
|
Several times to Italy, France and Germany. Also been to Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, and Canada.

Yep, forgot Jamaica, Cayman's, Turks & Caicos, Swan Island (I didn't count the USVI or Puerto Rico, since they are U.S. possessions)

70-odd counting days spent on Caribbean islands while on 2 cruises.
But I don't go for stamps on passports. I have spent over 70 weeks in America at different times, been to Thailand and Tenerife a few dozen times each. I even got to New Zealand 3 times. I travel around countries too and have travelled extensively in many of the countries I have visited (like two 7 week holidays in India). |
24 since 1992, which was my first trip abroad (Italy and Greece) when I was 14.
Canada, Mexico, Jamaica, Cayman Islands, Dominican Republic, St. Maarten, UK, Netherlands, Belgium, France, Spain, Portugal, Switzerland, Germany, Austria, Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Poland, Hungary, Greece, Morocco, India I hope to ramp that up with Thailand and Vietnam next year, Belize or Costa Rica the year after. |
16 so far, adding 3 more later this year (Italy, Croatia, Greece)
Mexico, Canada, St. Lucia, Bahamas, England, Ireland, Scotland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands, Spain, Luxembourg, Belgium, Czech Republic, US. |
Currently living in the Republic of Texas. Does that count?
In addition, England, France, Belgium, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, China, Peru, Puerto Rico- US Territory, Turkey, Canada, Mexico, Czech Republic, Bahamas, Virgin Islands, all over the US, the controversial Monaco & Vatican, and the Netherlands. No whirlwind Europe in ten days tours. Visited more than half on the list on multiple occasions. Now, where do I WANT to travel? Morocco (thanks to JGG's recently posted photos and trip report), Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam, Chile, Ecuador, Russia, South Africa, New Zealand, Tibet, Egypt & Israel. |
Aruba, Austria, Bahamas, Barbados, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Cayman, China, Costa Rica, Denmark, Dominica, England, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Greece, Grenada, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, Philippines, Romania, Russia, St. Lucia, St. Maarten/Martin, Sweden, Switzerland, Tortola, Turkey, Ukraine, US Virgin Islands and Venezuela. There are 38 places on the list which just about matches my age. Would love to keep that up and let my birthday cake candles represent countries visited! Now, unfortunately, some of these places I visited before the age of 10 so I don't remember a lot and another handful of countries were stops on cruises so I only got a day or so... but I was there. Prize for most vacation days goes first to Italy and second prize to China. |
USA - 40 states, Canada, Mexico, Bermuda, England (3 times), Scotland (twice), France(4 times), Monaco(?,)Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland(twice), Russia, Czech Republic, Sweden, Italy(3 times), Greece, Costa Rica, various islands. First overseas trip in 1976 so not very impressive compared to others. Planning trip to Wales this summer.
