Well, we will be in Paris next month so all this information is very timely for me! Thanks!

We are not that heavily into modern art, so found most of the Pompidou boring. We were however, riveted by the view (from one of those coin operated viewing machines) from the top into some guy's apartment as he frantically tried on several outfits--including a dress! He then made his choice and raced out of the apartment. We still wonder what the occasion was that a dress would have been an option.

Hi

Can you pls suggest me a free audio guide I can download for the Pompidou Centre?
My interest is in seeing the Picassos,etc... but a little guide on the main ones and the stories behind would help appreciating them, right?
Any help?

I like modern art -- not all of it, of course, but enough that I spent much more than an hour in the museum.

IN any case, a lot of audioguides just say what is in the curating on the signs on the walls. I've never heard of a free audioguide to a specific museum, as audioguides really are programmed so that you hit buttons with certain numbers on them that are attached to the works of art or things like that. I don't even know how one could do that as the museum could move something or change the numbers. And what language are you expecting it to be in? That's the advantage of museum guides, they are multilingual.

you can try this but I suspect it is French http://www.podcasters.fr/episodes/be...u-9110037.html
