How long to plan for Ferrari Museum?

Has anyone been to the Ferrari Museum in Modena? I am planning our itinerary and was wondering whether 2 hours is long enough to wander around and look at everything, or will we need more time? This is to fulfill the promise to my husband that we WILL go the Ferrari Museum, so I don't want to short-change him!!
;)

My husband and I went in February 2002, and we were actually disappointed in what they had to offer, after looking forward to going. Unless they have a lot more Ferraris on display I would think 2 hours would be enough time.

hi skylark, thanks for your reply. i will be sure to tell my husband not to expect too much so that he is not too disappointed! i have heard that you can often see Ferrarri cars being test-driven around Maranello - did you find this to be the case while you were there?

thanks again for your info.
:)
My son is a Ferrari freak and so we had to make that side trip to Modena. The museum is actually quite small 2 hours is probably too long. There is a neat shop across the street with all kinds of ferrari stuff. We did see a few Ferraris around town and if your husband is crazy about them he'll be able to hear them coming before you will so stay alert.
We inquired into getting a tour of the ferrari factory, but you must own TWO ferraris and provide them with VIN numbers in advance. I guess they figure if you just own one you are not really serious!!! (Ha another world) The surrounding area is nice enjoy the ride.

How many of us Yanks would care at all if France stuck its nose into, let's say, the Ivory Coast? As much as I love Europe, it seems they have more things to worry about than our policy toward a petty dictator. Methinks there's a bit of an inferiority complex among our ancestors who kicked us out of there so many years ago. A little jealous of the younger sibling that made a bigger success of themself, eh?

Umm, Zeus, as much as I adore an unrelated diatribe, what does your post have to do with the Ferrari museum question?

Are reservations required for the Ferrari museum? We are planning to go mid week. I did read somewhere that they are necessay on weekends. Thanks.
