How long a drive from Nice to Andorra?

We are staying in Les Alps de Haute Provence and thinking of driving to Andorra (why not?). Has anyone driven this route, and if so, how long did it take? Thanks!

I have traveled this route by a combination of train and car, taking more or less two days. It's fair to say that few people think that andorra is worth the trip up into the Pyrenees, and my 1-2 hours there gave me little reason to dispute this. However, the drive up on the Spanish side (from Seu d'Urgell) and perhaps even more so - - the drive down to Perpignan was pretty darn cool twisty moutain roads driving.

For mileage and time estimates on this and any other driving routes, I routinely recommend that you become familiar with one or more of the following three website resources:

www.viamichelin.com
www.mappy .com

or

ww.geoshellstar.com

B est wishes,

Rex
The trip is possible but far. A drive to Andorra from Toulouse or Barcelona is more practical.

Nice to Andorra - I'd give it 8 hours for the unpracticed American driver. But why do you want to drive to Andorra from Nice? There are myriad other places it would be more fruitful to drive to.

Thanks to all who replied; no surprise answers, but just wanted to hear from those with experience. To StCirq: We've been living in Les Alpes de Haute Provence for 3+ months, have driven all over southern France and parts of Italy, and our 16-year old son has the goofy desire to go to Andorra just to say he's been there. We're considering it as a present to him! We've enjoyed our stay here immensely, and sadly it's coming to an end. We look forward to coming back soon; we've grown quite fond of small village life and the sweet French people here! Happy trails to all.
