How it the nightlife in Scandinavia and St Petersburg?

Hello,
we are 3 single guys (early 30's) going to Scandinavia (Oslo, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Bergen and Stochkolm) and Russia in the first 2 weeks of September. We would like to have some info on nightlife.
Thanks!

If you are looking for bars and parties, I don't know about the nightlife except that to drink in a bar in Scandinavia is very expensive due to high taxes. Scandinavians seem to do their partying on the ferries where drinks are much cheaper. Finlanders go by ferry to Tallin to buy booze.
Have heard though that young people throughout Europe find Helsinki a popular place for nightlife.
My nightlife tends to be at the theater.
