How feasible is a day trip to Andorra from Quillan?

We are spending 6 weeks in France and Spain in July and August. 4 nights will be spent in Quillan. My Husband and children are keen to visit Andorra to go to Naturlandia and ride the long Alpine rollercoaster.
We would be driving ourselves, but wondering how feasible it would be to do this in one day? Via Michelin says 2 and a half hours, but how accurate is this considering there will be a lot of mountains!
If anyone has done a similar journey, I'd love to hear your thoughts

Many thanks
Lucy

It's probably fairly accurate if you are used to driving in the mountains. If you are not used to mountain driving, it will take longer.

I found the roads great both to and from Andorra. Be sure to fill up the tank as gas is a bargain. It was when I was there in 2008.
