how far to walk: Uffizi to Accademia

Can't seem to find this info anywhere and I am wondering if we have allowed ourselves enough time with our reservations. We have reserved Uffizi: 2pm and Accademia: 4:30pm. I have been to Uffizi before and do not want to stay more than 2 hours this trip. Would 30min be enough time to allow to walk to Accademia and pick up tix? Thanks

I can't remember it taking more than 30 min to walk directly from anywhere in Florence to anywhere else if you don't cross the river, but maybe I walk fast. I can't believe that some guidebook, like Fodor's doesn't include that information, or e-mail your hotel and ask them. You can also buy a map and check the distance and match it to your own walking pace - sheesh!

What surprised me most about Florence was how close everything was. I think 30 minutes is plenty of time to walk from one to the other.
