I'm glad for you, that your husband's long haul is over. You guys have so many possibilities, travel and otherwise, now. I hope you enjoy it!

We often plan for trips more than a year in advance; but we have also learned to say no to those unexpected events that because of the trips cannot be fitted in like the weddings, and those other "unexpected events."

Sometimes it brings disappointment but that is often the trade-off for the longterm planning.
