How far is Pozzallo sea terminal to Pozzallo train station?
 

Can anyone help, I am travelling to Pozzallo from Malta on the 11 October and would like to know how far Pozzallo sea terminal is, where I will arrive with a catamaran from Malta, and then need to catch a connecting train from Pozzallo train station to Siracusa.

Also if someone knows where in Siracusa is the train station? Do trains from Pozzallo ran as scheduled?

Does anyone have any suggestions as to worthwhile places that are a must do whilst in Malta, Pozzallo or Siracusa?

Your help would be much appreciated as this is our first trip to these destinations.

I got an estimate from Google maps that shows the trip between the port and the train station to be about 4 km and 12-15 minutes.

Oops . . . that's 12-15 minutes by car.

Yes, you can get this information from a mapping site like Google or www.via-michelin.com. Also the location of the Syracuse/Siracusa train station. We stayed on the island of Ortigia, the old part of the city. Ortigia has narrow streets, fewer cars, lots of restaurants. And the Sicilian baroque duomo (cathedral).
