Steve is right. We did the Rome-Anzio drive, along the Via Ponentina, two weeks ago. My husband's cousins were interested because their father had landed there in WW II, and they had grown up hearing about it. Interesting and moving day for all of us. Please let me know if you want any more info about this aspect of Anzio-Nettuno.
