Hotel Arcobaleno<BR>and Hotel Minerva<BR>Can someone tell me if these hotels are located a distance away from the old siena or within walking distance?<BR>thanks

Arcobaleno is located outside the city walls, relatively close to the train station, some 2 km from Piazza del Campo. Minerva is located within city walls, about half the distance.

thanks!<BR>is it easy to walk from Acrobaleno? if not are there easy bus connects.

Once I've always stayed within the city walls, I never did the walk myself. It's uphill from the hotel to Piazza del Campo. There are bus connects but I've no idea where the bus stop is relative to hotel and its frequency. Finally, I haven't visited any of the hotels inside. Based on location only, I'd opt for the Minerva.
