How does this itinerary look?

trying to plan an itinerary and this is what I came up with. What do you all think?

We will be 2 adults and 2 children ages 7 and 9 whom have been to Europe before but first time to England

5 nights London
3 nights in the Cotswolds area
3 nights in either Lincoln or York
3or 4 nights in Edinburgh.

Any suggestions on accomodations? We like 3 star hotels or better. Usually go for 4* if price is good.
Thanks

We stayed at the HOWARD in Edinburgh in 1992 on recommendation of friends and still remember how classy and well located this place was. It is located close to the downtown and only identified by small brass plaque outside. Rooms are large.

We stayed in the town of Burford last summer to explore the Cotswolds. The hotel we used there was the LAMB'S INN. Built in 1490 something and very quaint. This is on the edge of the Cotswolds but we found it a convenient town to use as base to explore Bath, the Slaughters, Broadway, Chipping Camden and other towns.

Hope this helps some.
