How do you rate Virgin Atlantic?

We are flying to London in September on Virgin Atlantic. Has anyone flown with them lately? How does their "steerage" compare to other airlines. Are they more crowded?

I flew Vrigin Atlantic From JFK-London and loved it. Very comfortable steerage accomodations. Moreover, I've never encountered such friendly and helpful flight attendants before. I wish I could fly Virgin all of the time.
I agree with Courtney. I flew VA for the first time in February from Chicago to London. The flight was on time and the service was great. Good food and free drinks. I definitely would fly with them again.

I just flew Virgin (LAX-Heathrow and back) . It was without a doubt the best flying experience I've ever had. Not only is the plane comfortable, but small things are given consideration. (Your dinner napkins are cheery colors).
I ALMOST enjoyed the long flight.

You will be impressed.

Michele

I guess it depends on which city you fly from! From Orlando to London it's a madhouse ,exhausted kids, stuffed animals, crying babies, tired, sunburned tourists!!The seats are about as comfortable as any othere steerage class seats, food is pretty good and the service is friendly. It's gotten so that we take connectiong flights from Atlanta, Chicago, etc. reather than fly direct. At least there is a chance of a not crowded flight.

It was THE best airline I have ever flown to Europe. Seats comfortable-but a little close together in coach.Stewardesses VERY friendly and gorgeous. Food good and the packets that they give out with toothpaste etc. include an eyeshield--and everyone's was different-ir.minnie mouse, open eyes-actually quite hysterical to see a bunnch of adults look loke kids trying on the eye shades. TV screen are on seat in front of you-even in coach---Am flying them again.
