How do you pronounce this in Irish?

Are there any Irish speakers out there. I would like to know how to correctly pronounce the words for Grandmother and
Grandfather in Irish:
Shon a'hur and Shon wo'hur
If someone could help me with this (i.e.
phonetically), I would be most grateful.

PK
Thanks so much for the help with the pronunciation of Grandfather and Grandmother. I'll start practicing and have it right before the big day arrives.
Are these names used much in Ireland today?
Again, many thanks.

Judith
No-one uses these Irish terms only in the Galetachta areas ie where they only speak Irish, hope this doesn't disappoint you,

Cathy

Judith, despite the fact that these may not be commonly used. I should imagine that an older person would be touched that you went to the trouble to learn them at all! Keep up the practice. Also, believe it or not they do have audio tapes available to help you learn Irish. My husand and I both started learning Welsh a few years ago and thats even less common then Irish, but it was fun to test it out on several elderly ladies who ran a B and B in Northern Wales. It was well worth learning.
