How do you print more than 1 page?
Ok, all you folks whom I have helped with advise over years. This time I need your help.
How do I print replies to a posting that go beyond the first page? So far, on "print preview" as well as "print" I only get one page. (page 1 of 1) |
Have you tried highlighting all the replies and clickong on "print selection" on your print menu?
|
Ah Treplow, not doubt thinking of my Lisbon post again?
How are you sir? Matt |
Usually, I right click on the mouse and click on "Select All" and then print. If, however, it doesn't print, I click on "Select All," copy and paste to a Word doc., then print.
|
I agree, copy to Words, delete what you don't need and print. You can change font size if needed, too.

I don't understand having to do all those things, I have no trouble getting all pages printed just by clicking on "print" and doing nothing else.
I point my mouse on the right hand side of the screen where the replies are, right click which brings up a list of things to do, one of which is PRINT. I then click on PRINT. That's it, it prints all of them. Perhaps you aren't printing from the frame? There is no "print preview" shown when I do that, it just asks if you want to print all or a single page (I suppose if you had your browser set to default to one page it might do something wrong). It sounds like you are printing from the top brower bar under the File command or something. |
Which browser are you using?
Are you printing from 'File' or the toolbar? |
I think I have the answer.
From the regular page, click some place on the right side of the screen. Click on Print Preview either from File or toolbar. On the top line, where it says, "As laid out on screen", click on the pull-down menu and choose "Only the selected frame". Click on Print and see what you get. Let us know. ((F)) |
As I experiment more, I think that your problem is that you are going to Print Preview.
I agree with Christina that just by clicking on the right side and Print will give you all the posts. It also works for me. By using Print Preview, probably to get only select pages, you run into this problem, which can be solved by my suggestion above. |
Print Preview works correctly when I try it. I trust that you noted the option for "As laid out on screen" or ""Current frame".
"As laid out on screen" really does not have a page two, no matter how long the thread is... only the <i><u>frame</u></i> has a continuation through the rest of the thread - - and when you click on "Current frame", there will be a page two (and a page three and/or how ever many pages it takes). Best wishes, Rex |
May I assume that you got this, treplow? Did it help?
