From your first thread it seems you've not been before and base much of your knowledge on some viral videos. If one is young and seems to be a 'back packer' they may stopped by Border authorities and asked to show 1) proof of accommodations, 2) enough money to cover all expenses, 3) an onward ticket, and 4) insurance. If not able to produce same -- they will be put on a plane back home.

If someone is fishing around with no firm plan or even just fantasizing who am I to scold or refuse to participate in what-ifs. Planning and anticipation is most of the fun. This poster has been given lots of advice and perspective but youth does not know the meaning of "failure" and if he/she strikes out with nothing but a backpack and a Rick Steves book....what the heck. It will be memorable, no matter what happens. Maybe it's a dream. Who cares. I'll keep chiming in, sounds interesting to me.

Janis, we were in troll territory two days ago when OP argued with several longtime members, one of which she called a name (although fairly innocuous) to the overuse of the phrase "triggered" to once again increased aggression. The irony that the OP herself is so easily triggered.

I also find it awfully ironic that the OP has asked how to make friends while traveling when she has not done a very good job making friends with the very people here giving her free advice.
