How do you find out how many times a person has posted? (Other than manually counting)

Kybourbon and Rex,
thank you for your reply. I will write to Fodors and see what if anything they can do.
I would be fun to see what threads an OP started at a glance.
Rex,
I would consider you a resident expert with that many posts.
I am curious to know how many out of your 12000 posts were threads you actually started verus the 1000's that you have replied to?

I tried this and I got the page with the narrow column, but there's no number so I can't get this to work. Maybe it's my weird computer, so I'll try it at work tomorrow. In the meantime, will somebody please do mine? Thanks a mil.

Oh, I'm sure it may be a hundred, or even a few hundred. I have, of course, asked questions pertaining to my own travels; I have more than once promoted the idea of Fodorites' trips (and led one of the first ones, and perhaps the biggest to date), and I point out articles on NYTimes.com - - to name just a few of the kinds of posts I have originated.
As for "expert", even the newest novice traveler can be the biggest "expert" with fresh and new observations here. No travel info is any better than it is current. If I have traveled a lot, and can cite experiences from places I have been, I also have to be careful about providing info that is 5 years old, or even older, for some destinations!

Just skimmed the thread so not sure if mac instructions are explained (those of us who can't right click) Same method - except use the apple key instead of right clicking.
for me 7125 w/ the first one on March 22, 2000 (two differnt screen names) - well, this one makes 7126.
I think my actual first post was in mid-1999 but had different e-mail/screen names etc back then and can't remember exactly what.

CD - I think registration was late January 2003. The board has been much calmer since. It's possible to have a few posts before you actually started posting. Fodor's had some blips over the years and wrong dates have been entered.
