This is still a question we think about. Who cares if the thread is old, situations change, it's even more important question now with the world situation such as it is.

I think Sharon's point is that little in this thread from 1998 would still be valid today. Customs does not take long - it is the immigration that can take for ever. If you are concerned about this topic start a current thread with relevant questions/suggestions and not top an old, moldy, basically useless thread.

xxx you bring up an interesting issue. Has the customs procedure really changed much in the past 5 years or has it stayed fairly the same but the other airport and border rules and routines really changed a lot.
