How do I navigate the Trenitalia website?

I'm trying to look at a schedule to determine how long it will take to get from Bellagio to Venice. When I put Varenna Esio or Varenna in the reply is no such terminal exists. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Or is there any other website that will give me scheduling info?

I put Varenna and Venezia in and it gave me schedules. You have to pick a date close to now in order to get a schedule. Summer schedules are not ready (to my knowledge) and you can only search so far in advance at any time.

Trenitalia definitely recognizes Varenna; I just tried it.

It will *not* recognize Bellagio, because there is no train station there and you have to ferry to Varenna to take the train.

For Bellagio-Varenna, look at the ferry schedule:

Hi Pawleys - Fastest journey time Varenna-Venice is 4hrs 03'
You have to change train at Milano Centrale.

Be aware that there is no ticket office at Varenna - so you will need to book in advance at an agency or other station.

Hope this helps ...

Thanks so much. I don't know what I was doing wrong. Probably putting the Oct date jinxed it. Looks like it will take most of the day to get to Venice and check into our hotel.
