How do I get to Casablanca??

I am thinking about traveling to Seville in May next year. Wanted to look into spending a few days in Casablanca or Marrakesh. Can anyone tell me how I find flights to each destination. Or if there is a ferry that takes you from Spain to Casablanca.

..there is a ferry from algiceras to tangier. There are busses to casablanca and Marrakesh..but be sure to get an express bus rather than a local (though my trip on the local was quite memorable!)..Yhere certainly are plane, but I was on a student budget and in my day this was my only option.

The express bus from Fez to Marrakesh took eight hours. Consider finding a airline flight.

I looked into flights from Seville and I think they mostly had a stop in Madrid which is out of the way.

I took a bus from Sevilla to Malaga. Then took the airport bus to the Malaga airport from the bus station. Malaga airport is about half an hour from the city.

Took Royal Air Maroc from Malaga to Casablanca. They have couple of fligts daily. It is either direct or stops at Tangier.

The planes are 50 seaters and small. Not for me but some folks do not mind it.

The Spanish ferries are in the Thomas Cook European Timetable, which may be in the reference library of a city near you. The Morrocan Rail times are in their Overseas Timetable. You start with a bus to Algeciras. Then your boat. Trasmedditterranea and associated lines take 3 ? hours with 14 sailings a day in winter, and more in summer. Their hydrofoil sails at 0900, and 1345 and takes an hour. See www.trasmediterranea.es/.

The site www.seat61.com/Morocco.htm - 101k/. covers the journey from Algeciras to Casablanca (and indeed that from London to Marrakesh in 48 hours) well and in detail. It shows the times for the Morroccan trains thus

All trains are air-conditioned rapide, 1st & 2nd class with refreshment trolley service.
k= change trains at Sidi Kacem
Tangier depart 06:00 09:00 11:00 14:00 17:45 23:00
Sidi Kacem arrive 08:37 11:45 13:35 16:37 20:45 02:15
Casablanca arrive 11:14k 14:14 17:14k 21:14k 23:14 05:05
Marrakech, with change of train, arrive 14:30k 18:30c 20:30k 00:25

So your best connections ftrom Seville are these
Seville by very early bus, Algeciras hydrofoil 0900, Tangiers port 1000, Tangiers station 1100, Sidi Kacem change, leave 1335, Casablanca 1714
Seville by bus, Algeciras hydrofoil 1345, Tangiers port 1445, Tangiers station 1745, Casablanca 2314
