Every time I went, I drove from Rome. Went a few times to Matera, Bari, Taranto, Vieste.

We flew to Rome, drove to Pompeii and spent the night, visited the ruins, then headed to our rental in Ostuni. When leaving, we drove to Pescara, stayed the night, then continued to our rental in Tuscany.
